Workshop on Microbiome Data Analysis

Just received microbiome sequence data? Not sure where to start? The goal of this session is for participants to leave with a personalized plan for their data analysis based on their project goals. Topics will include: understanding the data files you have, formatting your data for downstream analysis, how to standardize for uneven sequencing, and what types of statistical tests to use. While there will not be time to cover how to use specific software programs, the workshop will cover possible options.

The workshop will be led by Professor Jennifer Martiny and PhD student Kendra Walters.
