Trolls, Tweets and Free Speech: The First Amendment on College Campuses

How do college administrators protect free speech while also ensuring a safe environment in which students can learn and thrive? It’s no easy task, especially when you consider today's divisive politics. Has the increased use of social media affected the way we understand speech rights in the real world? How do Facebook and Twitter’s policies about speech differ from the First Amendment’s broad protections for extreme and even hateful speech?

Join KPCC’s Adolfo Guzman Lopez and the First Amendment Coalition’s David Snyder for a conversation on free speech and social media on our campuses and in our communities.

RSVP Required.
