UC Irvine Today
Faculty, post-doctoral scholars, fellows and graduate students are invited to join us for Spit Camp 1, a two-day workshop program designed to teach both basic and advanced strategies for incorporating saliva into your research. Participants gain practical knowledge and experience in salivary bioscience, while building relationships, collaborations, sharing ideas and getting valuable feedback.
This session will have an optional third day focusing on preanalytic data processing and basic statistical approaches for salivary biomeasure data.
Lectures and discussions are led by Professor Douglas Granger and laboratory activities are led by the Institute for Interdisciplinary Salivary Bioscience Research (IISBR) lab team.
Can't attend in May? See upcoming Spit Camp dates here.
**PLEASE NOTE: LAB ATTIRE
While in the laboratory, you will be provided with laboratory coats to wear. No shorts or open-toed shoes are allowed for safety purposes. Please plan your attire accordingly.
