Home > Resources > Graphic Identity Standards > Nameplates NAMEPLATES Linking unit names to the UC Irvine logo The UC Irvine nameplate system allows campus units to create an identifying mark that is consistent with the university’s. Styles include one- or multi-line primary nameplates, as shown below. To see a sample of varieties available for a particular unit, call 949-824-7919 or e-mail clove@uci.edu for assistance. Primary nameplates (vertical)• One-line  (NOTE: Requires that unit name be fewer than 32 characters in total.) • Two-line  • With secondary nameplate  • Formal two-line  (NOTE: Formal logo does not accommodate secondary unit nameplate.) Horizontal nameplates • Core logo with primary nameplate  • Adding secondary nameplate  • Formal logo with primary nameplate  (NOTE: Formal logo does not accommodate secondary unit nameplate.)
