UCI Libraries exhibit focuses on ‘The Past, Present and Future of Money’

Library materials and research materials from UC Irvine’s Institute for Money, Technology & Financial Inclusion will be on display. A video documenting money’s shift from the cash register to online, virtual world currencies is also part of the exhibit. The opening event features a talk by Catherine Eagleton, curator of modern money at the British Museum in London, who oversees a collection of more than 150,000 objects, including coins, paper money, tokens and credit cards from the last 300 years.
