Exploring Pulses

Pulses, also known as grain legumes, are a group of 12 crops that includes dry beans, dry peas, chickpeas, and lentils. Learn how to incorporate pulses into your cooking, diet and why they are so important to both us as humans as well as the environment. With John Halsey, campus recreation fitness programs coordinator; and Jessica Rose Vanroo, campus recreation culinary programs coordinator. Light lunch. Registration required.
