UCI researchers contribute to APA 9/11 anniversary issue ยป
The American Psychological Association recently published "9/11: Ten Years Later," a special issue of its flagship journal, American Psychologist. Edited by Roxane Cohen Silver, UCI professor of psychology & social behavior, it features peer-reviewed articles on the social, political and psychological impact of the terrorist attacks. Cohen Silver penned the introduction, an analysis of 9/11's influence on U.S. youths' sociopolitical attitudes, and a concluding piece about what to expect after the next attack on American soil. UCI Distinguished Professor of social ecology Elizabeth Loftus wrote an article about post-9/11 intelligence gathering by the U.S. government.Media Contact
