Men's soccer coach to lead AYSO national player development efforts »

UCI men's soccer head coach George Kuntz has been tapped by the American Youth Soccer Organization to direct its national player development efforts. He will provide technical advice, direction and support to the AYSO National Coaching Advisory Commission, as well as foster beneficial relationships with other soccer organizations. While serving with AYSO, Kuntz will continue coaching at UCI. In his 16 seasons leading the Anteaters, he has built a perennial national top-20 program and has won two Big West regular-season titles and two Big West championships. AYSO is the largest single-entity youth soccer association in the U.S., with more than 600,000 registered players and 225,000 volunteers.
