Top financial magazine again names UCI a 'best value' public college ยป
Kiplinger's Personal Finance has once again recognized UC Irvine for delivering a stellar education at an affordable price. The popular financial magazine annually chooses the 100 "best values in public colleges," with UCI ranking 17th nationally for 2010-11, up from 20th in 2009-10. Universities are selected based on academic quality, cost and financial aid. Overall, six UC campuses made the top 40 this year. "Despite rising tuition costs, there are still many first-rate institutions providing outstanding academics at an affordable price," said Janet Bodnar, Kiplinger's editor. Complete rankings appear online and in the February 2011 issue.Media Contact
