EXPLORING NEW TERRITORY:
2005 STUDENT TRAVELOGUES

Each summer, many of UC Irvine’s 24,000 students pack their bags – filled with another year of classes and knowledge – and depart for the summer months. For many, it’s an opportunity to pursue education beyond the classroom: to try out a suit jacket and career through an internship, to become immersed in a foreign language and culture, or to find meaningful ways to help those less advantaged.

For the first time, several students embarking on summer explorations – to places ranging from Sacramento and China – will track their experiences through online travelogues. They are:

Claudine Soriano Claudine Soriano
